Dubois County CARES Hires Executive Director

Dubois County CARES announces the hiring of Hilary Duncan as the organization’s first executive director, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s continued growth and long-term sustainability.

Duncan, a Dubois County resident, brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, communications, fundraising strategy, donor engagement, event management and community relationship building. In her new role, she will partner with the board of directors to guide the organization’s strategic vision and outcomes. She will work closely with schools, parents, healthcare providers, law enforcement, businesses, faith organizations and community partners to strengthen collaborative substance prevention efforts throughout the county.

Founded as a community coalition focused on youth substance use prevention, Dubois County CARES has evolved into an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening prevention efforts across Dubois County. The addition of a full-time executive director reflects the organization’s commitment to expanding programs, deepening partnerships and increasing community impact.

Duncan joins the CARES team of Candy Neal, program director, and Martha Rasche, program assistant. For more information about Dubois County CARES, upcoming program, or ways to support the organization’s mission, visit duboiscountycares.org.
