Dubois Community Corrections Center on Lockdown Following Positive COVID-19 Case

FROM LOCAL SOURCES

JASPER -- The Dubois County Community Corrections Center is on lockdown today after someone in the program tested positive for COVID-19.

That patient is in quarantine.  So are those that may have been exposed.

The facility in Jasper was already closed to the public due to the pandemic.  The lockdown now keeps other program participants from entering the Community Corrections Center as well.

The Indiana State Department of Health has sent a strike team to the facility to test everyone for coronavirus.

Staff at Community Corrections have been taking participant's temperatures twice a day.  No others are showing any symptoms, as of now.
