DCH to host Wild West themed lunch on March 18
Daviess Community Hospital will bring a taste of the frontier to its cafeteria with a Wild West themed lunch on Wednesday, March 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event, hosted by the hospital’s Food and Nutrition Services team, will feature a menu inspired by classic Western fare, including bison burgers, turkey legs, baked beans, fries, grilled corn on the cob and cornbread. Pricing will vary based on meal selections.
The themed lunch is open to the public, and staff, patients, visitors and community members are encouraged to stop by the DCH Cafeteria to enjoy the unique menu and welcoming atmosphere.
“These themed lunches are about more than just food,” said Becky Vest, CDM, CFPP, food service director at Daviess Community Hospital. “They give our team the opportunity to create memorable experiences and bring people together in a way that reflects the hospitality and service culture we value at DCH.”
The Wild West lunch is part of DCH’s ongoing monthly themed lunch series, an initiative led by Food and Nutrition Services that highlights creative menus while strengthening connections among patients, staff and the community. The events are designed to provide a welcoming break in the day while showcasing the quality and care that define the DCH experience.
Daviess Community Hospital continues to expand services and strengthen programs that support the health and well-being of the region. In addition to providing high-quality medical care across a wide range of specialties, the hospital remains committed to creating a positive environment for patients and visitors through initiatives that emphasize service excellence, hospitality and community engagement.
Events such as the Wild West themed lunch reflect that commitment by bringing people together and reinforcing the hospital’s role as a trusted and community-focused health system in southwestern Indiana.
