DC Multisport's "Full Moon Hike" to Take Place at Ferdinand State Forest Tonight

Ferdinand – The "Full Moon Hike", hosted by DC Multisport, will take place at the Ferdinand State Forest this evening.

The "Full Moon Hike" is open to the public at Ferdinand State Forest. Hikers will depart the Sycamore Shelter meeting place at 7:30 p.m. on a kid-friendly, one-mile hike only a mostly-paved path. There will also be a 2.5 mile option hiking the South Ridge Trail.

Attendance is free, though DC Multisport asks that participants bring canned food items for collection and donation for the Dubois County Food Bank.

Prior to the hike, the organization will be hosting a kids' scavenger hunt, pumpkin checkers, ring toss, field games, and a camp fire.

DC Multisport recommends hikers bring their own flashlights and headlights, as well as water bottles.
