Daviess Community Hospital Auxiliary Announces Annual Flower Basket Sale

The Daviess Community Hospital Auxiliary is welcoming the arrival of spring with the return of its annual flower basket sale, offering community members an opportunity to enhance their homes while supporting local health care.

Now through April 20, the Auxiliary is selling 12-inch hanging flower baskets for $26 each or two for $50. Orders will be available for pickup Friday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Daviess Community Hospital parking lot near the cafeteria, just ahead of Mother’s Day weekend.

Each purchase directly supports programs and initiatives at Daviess Community Hospital, helping enhance patient care and expand services for individuals and families across southwestern Indiana.

“The Auxiliary’s flower basket sale is a tradition our community looks forward to each year,” said Ed Zipperle, president of the DCH Auxiliary. “It’s a meaningful way for people to give back while also enjoying something beautiful. Every basket purchased helps us support the hospital’s mission and contribute to the care and comfort of our patients.”

The DCH Auxiliary plays an important role in supporting the hospital through fundraising efforts that provide resources for patient care, equipment and services. Events like the flower basket sale reflect the organization’s ongoing commitment to strengthening local health care and supporting DCH’s continued growth.

Orders can be placed by visiting an Auxiliary member at the hospital’s front desk Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or by calling (812) 254-2760. Community members may purchase using cash or check. DCH employees may purchase baskets through payroll deduction, cash or check made payable to the DCH Auxiliary.
