Daily road closures planned for State Road 66 in Crawford County
The Indiana Department of Transportation announces daily road closures for State Road 66 in Crawford County.
Beginning on or around Monday, August 17, crews will begin daily road closures on State Road 66 near Carefree. These road closures will occur between State Road 62 and Pilot Knob Road.
Daily road closures will allow for multiple pipe replacement projects. Work will occur week daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will reopen when complete. Work is expected to last through the end of August, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 62 to State Road 237 to State Road 64. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
