Crash Closes Haysville Road, Police Asking For the Public's Help in the Investigation

HAYSVILLE -- The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help investigating a two-vehicle crash with injury.

It happened just before 3:20 p.m. Wednesday at Haysville Road and U.S. 231 about 3 miles north of Jasper.

Investigators want to identify the driver of a vehicle that stopped along the southbound lane of US 231 near the intersection and left southbound following the crash.

It is described as the following:-White, crew cab Ford F-250 or F350 work truck

-It had blue lettering on the side with a company name

-There were construction signs in the bed of the truck.

-Possible Indiana license plates.

-Male driver and passenger.  

-Passenger had on an orange work vest.
