City of Huntingburg Leaf Pick Up Program to Begin on Monday, November 2.

The City of Huntingburg Street Department will begin city-wide leaf pick up for Huntingburg residents on Monday, November 2, 2026. Leaves will be collected south of Highway 64 on Monday and Tuesday and north of Highway 64 on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday will be a catch-up day. Huntingburg Leaf Pickup is a complimentary service, and you do not need to call City Hall to be added to a list. However, calling City Hall to let us know you have leaves for pickup is helpful and appreciated!

Leaves must be collected and placed in the curb line for the equipment to reach them. Please keep limbs and sticks out of leaf piles, and refrain from placing leaves near parked cars, poles, landscaping, and mailboxes. Please also keep leaves away from storm sewer inlets to ensure drains are not clogged during rain events.
