Chalk Walk 2024 is on the way! Calling all Participants, Artists, and Food Vendors.

Jasper Community Arts’ 21 st annual Chalk Walk Arts Festival will once again be held at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center (located at 100 3 rd Ave. Jasper, IN 47546) on Saturday, May 18 th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Chalk Walk 2024 will see the return of crowd favorites, such as Chalk Walk t-shirt tie-dyeing, balloon art, caricatures, a bounce house just for the little ones, and of course, CHALKING! 

 Participants may register online by visiting www.jasperarts.org/chalkwalk. Register before the early bird deadline of April 28 to receive a free 2021 Chalk Walk tshirt! For those who miss the deadline, t-shirts will be available at the Chalk Walk for $10. 
 Volunteers and service groups are always welcomed for set up, registration, booth help, and clean up. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Please register as a volunteer online at www.jasperarts.org/chalkwalkvolunteer or call Eric Herndon, Chalk Walk Event Coordinator at 812-482-3070. 
 Artists and craftspeople of all kinds including furniture makers, painters, potters, photographers, blacksmiths, weavers, sculptors, jewelry makers and more are encouraged to join this much anticipated, annual event. The fee for a booth space is $25. Artists must supply their own tables, but Jasper Community Arts will provide 2 chairs per booth.  Food trucks and non-profit organizations are invited to participate as Food Vendors. A reminder: If a tent is used, it must meet state Fire Marshal codes. The fee for the outdoor food booth space is $25. Anyone interested in applying to become a food vendor at the Chalk Walk may fill out the form at www.jasperarts.org/chalkwalkfoodvendor or call Eric Herndon, Chalk Walk Event Coordinator at 812-482-3070. 

The annual Chalk Walk is supported by many local businesses and individuals, including Papa John’s Pizza of Jasper and the Greater Jasper Downtown Business Association.
