FERDINAND -- A teen died Monday after wrestling practice at Forest Park High School.

An autopsy performed on 16-year-old Anderson Peters this week shows the teen died of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.  The corner said Peters had an enlarged heart.

Anderson was born on December 11, 2002 in Guatemala City, Guatemala, according to his obituary.  He was a junior at Forest Park High School, and worked at Shamrock Cabinets. He was a member of Forest Park Class of 2021. Anderson was a member of Christ the King Parish, Saint Ferdinand Church, Spencer County 4-H, and a member of Forest Park Wrestling Team.

School officials say grief counselors have been made available to students and staff.
