Authorities Seek Suspect After Semi Truck Shooting in Daviess County

At approximately 6:44 pm, on Saturday, August 1st, Owensboro-Daviess County Central Dispatch received numerous calls regarding gunshots being fired in the 5400 Block of West 5th Street Road. DCSO deputies were immediately dispatched and initial reports indicated that a black semi truck with no trailer was traveling westbound on West 5th Street Road when several shots were fired from the vehicle. Some of the rounds struck a house in the 5300 Block of Ashland Avenue and a subject standing in his yard stated the subject also fired rounds at him. No injuries were reported. The vehicle continued westboung was last seen turning on Lydanne Bridge Road. Detectives and patrold deputies are on scene collecting evidence and speaking to witnesses. Please share the attached pictures of the suspect vehicle. If anyone has information regarind the operator of the truck please have them contact 911. The motive behind the shooting is unknown at this time and the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
