AMY KIPPENBROCK OFFICIALLY FILES FOR REPUBLICAN PRIMARY
Yesterday, Amy Kippenbrock officially filed her candidacy for the Republican Primary in Indianapolis, taking the next step in her campaign to represent her community in the Indiana General Assembly.
Kippenbrock currently serves as Dubois County Clerk, a position she has held since first being elected in 2018. In that role, she has focused on modernizing government operations, strengthening election security, and improving customer service for residents across the county.
“Serving the people of Dubois County has been the honor of my life,” Kippenbrock said. “I’m running because I believe our district deserves steady, experienced leadership that understands how government works and is committed to conservative principles, local values, and putting Hoosiers first.”
During her tenure as Clerk, Kippenbrock led the county’s transition to vote centers while maintaining strong election security standards, implemented digital record-keeping to improve efficiency, and earned recognition as Indiana’s “Clerk of the Year” in both 2020 and 2024. She is a graduate of Ball State University’s Certificate in Election Administration, Technology, and Security (CEATS) program and has served on the Governor-appointed Oversight Committee on Public Documents.
Kippenbrock emphasized her commitment to fiscal responsibility, supporting small businesses, election integrity, and ensuring state government remains responsive to local communities.
“I’ve spent my career working directly with taxpayers, local officials, and families,” she said. “That experience matters, and I’m ready to bring it to the Statehouse.”
A lifelong Hoosier, Kippenbrock was born in Martin County and raised in Jasper, where she and her husband Kevin—a second-generation small business owner—have raised their three sons and now enjoy two granddaughters. She first announced her intent to seek the Republican nomination following the announcement that State Representative Shane Lindauer will not seek reelection.
The Republican Primary will be held May 5, 2026.
