A Silver Alert has been declared for Gary Shipley

A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared.

The Cedar Lake Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Gary Shipley, a 77 year old White male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 175 pounds, gray hair with green eyes, last seen wearing a black and white hoodie jacket with jeans and gym shoes, and driving a gray 2021 Nissan Frontier pickup truck with Indiana license TK289OKN.

Gary is missing from Hobart, Indiana which is 148 miles northwest of Indianapolis and was last seen on April 1, 2024 at 2:52 PM.  He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
