2 Arrested on Meth Charges at Jasper Walmart

JASPER -- A Holland woman is in jail after creating a disturbance this morning at the Jasper Walmart.

Police were called out to the shopping center on the city’s north side around 6:00 a.m. on a report of a woman with an infant acting erratically.

Arrest reports show 27-year-old Audrey Fleck allegedly asked an employee to hold her baby while she went to her vehicle.

When police arrived, they said Fleck appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and obtained consent for a search of her vehicle.

Charles Morrison of Jasper was inside that vehicle, telling police he arrived at Walmart with the suspect.

A search of the vehicle turned up a gram of meth.

Fleck is charged with Neglect of a Dependent and Possession of Meth.Child Protective Services took custody of the 2 month old baby, deeming her a ward of the state due to her level of the suspect's impairment.

Morrison is also facing a charge of meth possession.
