“Fun Day Fridays” Announced for St. Meinrad Park

The Fun Day Fridays Program at St. Meinrad Park has announced their upcoming programs for the remainder of July.

On Friday, July 17, a foam machine will be the center of attraction, with a sprinkler and other water games. SMART (St. Meinrad Area Revitalization Team) will also sponsor a lemonade stand, along with snack and popsicle sales, to benefit the local Isaiah 117 House, an organization that provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting foster placement.

Friday, July 24 will feature well-known musician Monte Skelton and his “Learn, Build, Play!” Interactive Music program, which will be sponsored by Inkspot Productions. He’ll feature many different instruments and how they can be put together to create songs and music. The day will also include some DIY instrument crafts for all ages!

The summer program will wrap up on Friday, July 31 with Shannon from Lincoln Heritage Public Library, who’ll be there for storytime, with lots of books and activities!

Program Organizer Kristina Nadin is pleased to offer the program to all local children, parents, grandparents and caregivers. The program is free for all and will take place at the St. Meinrad Park, located at 19568 N 2nd Street in St. Meinrad.
