Registration Open for 8th Annual Heartland Kids Fun Run

Huntingburg – Looking for a kid-friendly fun way to spend your Saturday? The 8th annual Heartland Kids Fun Run will take place Saturday, September 3, 2022 in Huntingburg, IN!  The Kids Run will be joining with the Heartland Half Marathon, 5k and Team Challenge to have a morning race full of fun and festivities!  The race will begin at 9:30 AM (ET).

  • Race Registration: Kids Fun Run - Participants ages 4-14. Includes a t-shirt, participation medal, and goody bag (Shirt size preference and goody bag not guaranteed if registered after August 7, 2022). Running buddies are not required to register.  Therefore, there will be no charge for race fee and will not receive race garb. Race day registration will be available.
  • Registration Price:
    • $20 if registered before August 7, 2022
    • $25 after August 7, 2022 (After August 7 deadline, not guaranteed t-shirt, goody bag, or medal.)
  • Route Details: Meet on 4th Street 9:10am for fun activities and stretching. After stretching participants will make their way to the start line to complete their 1.1 mile run.
  • Free Kids Training Program: All participants are encouraged to complete the 12-mile Youth Challenge prior to the event.  Participants can print the Running Log to track 12 miles prior to September 3rd.  Once participants complete and submit their Log at the registration table on Race Day, they will be entered to win cool prizes! Proceeds from the Kids Fun Run will benefit Girls on the Run of Southwest Indiana. This non-profit is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade and began serving girls in 2015.
