Dubois County - Chip Ganassi IndyCar Racer Alex Palou, No. 10, joined WITZ Sports Director Kris Norton to preview Sunday's Road America race, fresh off of the Streets of Detroit and capturing a checkered flag in Indianapolis in the month of May.

Currently second in the IndyCar points standings, the 27-year-old Spanish driver looked ahead to Sunday's Road America road course, and the challenges and opportunities it provides:

"Road America is an amazing track. So many different styles of corners, high speed, slow speed, high braking zones... It just makes for a proper race. It allows teams and the drivers to push it to the limits. You are allowed to push every single corner to the max. There's room for overtaking which is really important for IndyCar."

On his Indianapolis Motor Speedway victory in the Sonsio Grand Prix:

"It's an amazing place. Obviously, you want to win the 500 when you're in Indianapolis. Not so much the road course if you could choose. But, honestly, a win feels so good in IndyCar, especially when you're at Indianapolis. It made it extra special that we were lucky enough to be on pole, and then to win the race. So, it was a super sweet race weekend. Everything went amazing, the crew did an amazing job from the pits... There's no perfect race, but, it was really close to being a perfect race weekend for us."
