Heat Index Causing Adjustments to Local Sports

We're already beginning to see athletic events adjusted/postponed for TUESDAY amid an ongoing heat wave.
UPDATE 10:30am: A number of Southridge events, including the Cross Country Raider Invitational, have been postponed.
The following list is made up of cancelations we have received from administrations and may not include every cancelation throughout the region. Any questions should be directed to local athletic offices.
The following school's schedules have been amended (alphabetical):
FOREST PARK
Girls Soccer - Varsity only starting at 7:00 ET at Providence
JH Boys Soccer - At Wood Memorial postponed, date TBD
Boys Soccer - Varsity only starting at 7:30 ET at Forest Park vs Heritage Hills
Tennis - Postponed to September 21 at 5:00 ET at Crawford County
Girls Golf - Postponed to September 11 at Vincennes Lincoln
HERITAGE HILLS
Boys Soccer - Varsity only starting at 6:30 CT at Forest Park
Boys Soccer - Varsity only starting at 6:30 CT at Forest Park
Girls Golf - Match against Southridge has been cancelled.
(AUG. 24th) Girls' Soccer game on Thursday, August 24th will now be played at 6:30 pm CST. It was originally scheduled to be played at 5 pm.
(AUG. 24th) JV Boys' Soccer game vs. Castle on August 24th has been canceled.
SOUTHRIDGE
Cross County - Raider Invitational cancelled - this affects NUMEROUS area teams.
Girls Golf - Varsity Golf at Heritage Hills cancelled
