Wilson L. Winkel, age 79 of Jasper
Wilson L. Winkel, age 79 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his
home. He was born in Shoals, Indiana on September 25, 1939. He married Phyllis
Jane Kreilein on July 11, 1968.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He had worked as a supervisor for JOFCO.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Jane Winkel of Jasper, one daughter, Janelle Fleck
(Jon), one son, Michael Winkel (Amy) both of Jasper, and 6 grandchildren, Saxxon
Winkel, Mitch Fleck, Elizabeth Evitts (Jeremy), Rachael Fleck, Joss Winkel, and
Quinn Winkel.
Preceding him in death was one son Tony Winkel.
Per his wishes, Wilson generously donated his body to the Anatomical Education
Program at Indiana University School of Medicine in lieu of funeral services.
