Virginia H. “Jenny” Pfaff, age 92, of Huntingburg

Virginia H. “Jenny” Pfaff, age 92, of Huntingburg, Indiana passed away at 1:30 p.m.,  on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

 She was born December 7, 1925, in Huntingburg, Indiana to James and Laura (Denk) Jenkins.  She married Charles Pfaff on July 2, 1949, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.  Jenny was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Ladies Sodality and the V.F.W. Post #2366 Auxiliary.  She was a homemaker and had worked at General Electric, Gossard’s and was a part-time school cafeteria worker.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Pfaff; one son, Mark Pfaff; and two brothers, Walter Jenkins and Raymond Jenkins.

She is survived by one son, Kerry (Sherry) Pfaff of Huntingburg; one daughter, Cheryl Pfaff of Huntingburg; and one sister, Linda Kinkade of Indianapolis.

 Funeral services for Virginia “Jenny” Pfaff will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Father Ryan Hilderbrand will officiate at the funeral Mass.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-7:00 p.m, E.D.T., Friday, April 20^th.  A parish rosary will be led by Deacon Tom Holsworth at 6:00 p.m. Friday, along with a V.F.W. Post #2366 Auxiliary memorial service at 6:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or the Dubois County Humane Society.
