Susan Delores Reynolds, 80 of Ferdinand

Susan Delores Reynolds, 80 of Ferdinand, passed away, Thursday, March 7th at her home.

Susan was born June 11, 1938 in Mariah Hill to Paul and Catherine (Vaeth) Schue.

She married Edmond Dwain Reynolds on October 18, 1958 in Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church. Susan was a member of Mary, Help of Christians Church and Santa Claus Legion Auxiliary Post 242. She enjoyed gardening, photography, quilting, genealogy and being with her family. Susan wrote and published the Mary, Help of Christians sesquicentennial book.  

Susan is survived by four daughters, Lesa (Chuck) Hancock and Lora (Darryl) Lange of Ferdinand, Christina (Tom) McNary of Ekron, KY and Dana Lange of Holland; two sisters, Nellie (Fred) Ebert and Pauli Pund all of Ferdinand; grandchildren, Chandra (Candido) Sablan of Illinois, Cecile Singer of Greenville, Amanda and Samantha McNary of Kentucky, Wynne (Kody) Curtsinger of Gentryville, Joshua Reynolds (Sloan) Voges of Bristow, Catherine Lange of Kentucky, Claire Lange of Ferdinand, Christopher and Emily Lange of Holland; four step grandkids; eleven great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren and three step great great-grandchildren.

 Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond; brothers, John, Norman and Leo Schue; a sister, Sylvia Obermeier; brothers in law, Harold Pund and Albert Obermeier.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CST on Wednesday, March 13th at Mary, Help of Christians Church in Mariah Hill. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand from 1-7:00 PM CST and also at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM CST until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Santa Claus Legion Auxiliary Post 242.
