Sharon Faye Neukam, age 74, of Jasper

Sharon Faye Neukam, age 74, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at home.
 
Sharon was born in Paoli, Indiana, on November 28, 1945, to Charles and Virginia (Howell) Wininger.  She married Gene Neukam on July 29, 1995, in St. John's Lutheran Church at the Crossroads in Dubois, Indiana.
 
Sharon was a 1963 graduate of Springs Valley High School.
 
She previously worked at Springs Valley Bank in Jasper and then retired from Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, where she had worked for several years.
 
She was a founding and charter member of Redemption Christian Church in Jasper, Indiana, and she was a former member of the Nicholson Valley Christian Church.
 
She enjoyed singing and was a lead singer of  a trio in high school, which continued  to perform after her high school years.  They performed in events and on stage.  She also enjoyed playing piano, and was a pianist at both Nicholson Valley and Redemption Christian Churches.  She loved to play cards, do jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.
 
Surviving are her husband, Gene Neukam, Jasper, IN, two sons, Ryan (Carla) Hall, Indianapolis, IN, Kyle (Brittany) Hall, Jasper, IN, two step-daughters, Leah (Terry) Pinnick, Phoenix, AZ, Kathy (Brad) Bledsoe, West Baden, IN, nine grandchildren,  10 great grandchildren, and one sister,  Janet (Buddy) Pridemore, Mitchell, IN.  
 
Preceding her in death are one daughter, Stacy Hall, one son, Jeffrey Hall, and one brother, Gary Wininger.
 
Funeral services for Sharon Faye Neukam will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019, at Redemption Christian Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, in French Lick, Indiana.  Pastor Darrel Land and Pastor Joe Crow will officiate.
 
A visitation will be held from 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Redemption Christian Church in Jasper, Indiana, and one hour before services from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the church on Friday.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to Redemption Christian Church in Jasper or to a favorite charity.
