Rose E. (Liz) Walker, 99, of Loogootee

She was born February 14, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Zola (Galimore) Carrigan. Liz was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and St. Vincent De Paul. She was a home maker and enjoyed playing cards, bird watching and traveling. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. (Dick) Walker; brothers, Lawrence and Robert Carrigan; sister, Joanne Brown; parents, Lawrence and Zola Carrigan; son- law, Tom Dawson. 

Liz is survived by her children, Michael Walker of Key West Florida, Kathleen Walker of Loogootee, Barbara (Dan) Gregory of Loogootee, Karen (Scott) Fellwock of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Eileen Dawson of Loogootee, and Clara (Ben) Northington of Ellicott City, Maryland; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee, officiated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee.
