Richard Maharrey, 56, of Jasper

Richard was born on August 2, 1965, in Mumford, Tennessee to William Sanford and Linda Elizabeth Gill. 

Richard was a graduate of Washington High School. He was a factory worker and also worked at the pizza restaurant. Richard loved listening to music, especially KISS and classic rock. He also enjoyed drawing in his free time. 

He is survived by his mother, Linda Elizabeth Gill; daughter, Jill Maharrey brothers, William Maharrey, Robert Maharrey, and Ricky Maharrey. 

Richard was preceded in death by his father William. 

Visitation for Richard will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St. Washington, Indiana. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 1:00pm with Pastor Adam Conder Officiating. Richard will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery in Washington, Indiana.
