Lynn Harshaw, 53, of Loogootee

She was born April 11, 1968 in Washington, Indiana to the late Donald “Dutch” Lannan and Lois (Davis) Lannan. 

Lynn was a caring and compassionate mother and friend. Her daughters were her pride and joy. She had a great love for her family. Lynn enjoyed shopping and going on motorcycle rides. She loved to attend car shows and concerts. She was a member of the Dover Hill Christian Church and sang in the choir. She was previously employed by DF Crane Construction from 1988-2004. She was currently employed at NSWC Crane and worked for various government contractors over the years. 

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Donald “Dutch” Lannan and Lois Steffe and brother, Charlie Lannan. 

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Harshaw and fiancé, Jonathan Newby, of Fort Wayne and Hannah Harshaw of Loogootee; siblings, Gary (Debbie) Lannan and Beth (Dave) Milligan, both of Loogootee; sister-in-law, Denise Lannan; friend, Mark Robbins of Shoals; step-father, Tom Steffe of Jasper. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2021 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.

 In lieu of flowers, a fund will be established for Lynn’s daughters. Please make checks payable to Beth Milligan. Donations can also be made to the Dover Hill Christian Church.
