Lloyd E. Mann, age 74 of Boone Township

Lloyd E. Mann, age 74 of Boone Township, Indiana, passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, IN.

Lloyd was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on February 13, 1944 to Clarence H. and Lois K. (Schnarr) Mann.  He married Charlotte A. Huebner on September 2, 1965 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, IN. 

Lloyd retired as an Industrial Engineer from JOFCO in Jasper after 19 years of service.  He was also a self-employed farmer for many years, and worked for Walmart in Jasper.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, where he served as past member and president of the church council, the chancel choir, and the Via de Cristo.  He was a leader with Junior Achievement for many years, and a member of the National Rifle Association.

He was an avid Purdue Boilermaker and Jasper Wildcat fan, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, spending time in the outdoors, playing cards with friends, and spending time with family.

Surviving is his wife, Charlotte A. Mann, two sons, Tony Mann (Deann), Loogootee, IN, and Matthew Mann (Debbie), Greenwood, IN, five grandchildren, Josh, Jared, and Jordan Mann and Chloe and Eli Mann, one great grandchild, Zander Mann, two sisters, Barbara Hoffmann, Loogootee, IN, Rosalie Chanley (Paul), Jasper, and one brother, Larry Mann (Sue), Otwell.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Funeral services for Lloyd E. Mann will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, IN, with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, IN.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center, or a favorite charity.
