Irene A. Kaiser, age 83, of Huntingburg

 Irene A. Kaiser, age 83, of Huntingburg, Indiana passed away at 4:15 p.m., on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at her home.

 She was born February 9, 1935, in Evansville, Indiana to Joseph Rumage, Sr. and Catherine (Kaelin) Rumage; and married Paul C. Kaiser on July 16, 1955, in Evansville.  Irene worked at Gossards, D.M.I., Chesterfield and retired from Jofco.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg, St. Mary’s Choir, St. Mary’s Quilting Group, and Dubois County Right to Life.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul C. Kaiser, who passed away January 18, 2000; and two brothers, Jim Rumage and Joseph “Bud” Rumage.

 Irene is survived by six daughters and five sons-in-law, Patricia (Jim) Bogard of Terre Haute, Rebecca (Scott) Smith of Boonville, Paula Houchins of Huntingburg, Sharon (William) Weisman of Dale, Dorothy (Kevin) Kreilein of Huntingburg, and Caroline (Josh) Kaiser Brant of Chandler, Arizona; one brother, John Rumage of Madison; seven sisters, Mary Rose Burton of Evansville, Dorothy Beaven of Fenton, Missouri, Jenny Grose of Evansville, Jerri Kempf of Evansville, Barbara Heneisen of Eureka, Missouri, Paulette Anderson of Cadiz, Kentucky and Dodie Alber of Apalachicola, Florida; by (12) grandchildren and (12) great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Irene Kaiser will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Monday, May 7, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Ryan Hilderbrand.

 Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Sunday, May 6^th.  A parish rosary prayer vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m., E.D.T., Sunday, at the funeral home.
