Elizabeth L. "Betty" Reynolds, age 82, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 3:19 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.
Betty was born in Jasper, Indiana, on August 3, 1937, to Edward and Christine (Blessinger) Erny. She married Michael "Mick" Reynolds on September 12, 1964, in Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2016.
She retired from Jasper Corporation, where she had worked for several years.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, St. Ann's Society, and the Jasper Moose.
Betty enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Tina (Brent) Wehr, Jasper, IN, Pam Reynolds, Huntingburg, IN, Mary L. Gentry, Ferdinand, IN, eight grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, and Mallory Wehr, Crystal (Dustin) Houchin and Brandon Boyer, Nolan Gentry, Karli and Jake Kitten, five great grandchildren, two sisters, Margaret (Donnie) Eckerle and Mildred Erny, and one brother, Harold (Mildred) Erny, all of Jasper, IN.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are one son, John Reynolds, three sisters, Mary Alice Schuetter, Helen Hochgesang, and Anna Mae Reckelhoff, and four brothers, Robert, Richard, Vincent, and Sylvester "Sylv" Erny.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth L. "Betty" Reynolds will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana. The St. Ann's will pray a rosary at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
