Danny Joe (Boone) Welp, 64, of Chandler

He was born on July 11, 1957 to the late Anthony and Mildred (Schwartz) Welp. 

Boone was a loving and giving person who never met a stranger, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and grilling. He was an expert mechanic who worked repairing lawn mowers and small engines for over 40 years, he also loved woodworking. 

Boone is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Belinda (Arender) Welp and her children who he considered to be his own; Jessica, Natasha, Brandon, Logan and their children; sisters, Judy Cox (Jay), Mary Gehlhausen (Ron); brother, Tony Welp (Patricia) along with many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Robert and David Welp. 

Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel 7022 Heim Rd, Chandler, IN 47610. 

Funeral Services be at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Bretzville Cemetery at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
