You Can Get Into Holiday World This Weekend For Just $10, But There's a Catch

SANTA CLAUS -- Holiday World is letting visitors in for just $10 today and tomorrow…. But there is a catch….

You have to pay cash, some rides won’t be operational and food options will be limited.

Fox 59 reports an IT issue is to blame.

The Santa Claus theme park is kicking off its Happy Halloween Weekend today. 

Normal prices will resume September 28th.

Holiday World’s Happy Halloween Weekends opens tomorrow, September 21, for six weekends of Halloween Fun for the whole family. Opening weekend hours are 11am-6pm Saturday and Sunday.

A costume character dance party, comedy, magic, live shows, trick-or-treating and 12 acres of corn maze and hayrides are all part of the perfect way to kick off a season of family-friendly Halloween fun.  On opening weekend (September 21 & 22), due to IT system complications, a limited number of park rides will be open and food service offerings will be limited. As a reminder, last weekend was the final days for Splashin' Safari for the 2019 Season. 

Tickets for opening weekend will be $10, with a few food and beverage stands accepting cash only.  All gate proceeds donated to a regional CASA chapters. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate, the program is designed to recruit, train, and support volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children. If guests purchased a ticket on Holiday World's website and choose to redeem it on Saturday, they will receive a refund that reflects the deduction 

Normal pricing and operations will resume Saturday, September 28.
