Woman Hides from Jasper Police in Attic

Jasper- Jasper Police arrested a woman on Saturday after she attempted to hide in an attic.

Officers say they were given information that 35-year-old Lindsay Weaver was at a Division Road residence. Officials shared Weaver had a warrant for felony syringe charges.

Officers made contact with a male resident at the home and he gave them permission to enter to search for Weaver. During their search, officers say they located illegal items in plain view. Consent for a further search revealed 11 grams of meth, 2 syringes and numerous other illegal items were found.

Weaver was eventually located in the homes attic, where officers say she was trying to hide from them. During her arrest, officers say she resisted them.

Weaver was arrested and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, two counts felony possession of a syringe, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement.
