Woman Arrested For Allegedly Dealing Meth, Three Kids Were in the Car

LOOGOOTEE -- A Shoals woman is in jail today on multiple drug charges.

Police stopped a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Melissa Wininger late last week in Loogootee for a moving violation.

Officers got suspicious and searched the vehicle.  Inside, they found 12 grams of meth, packaged into multiple small baggies.

Syringes were also found.  There were also three children in the car.

Wininger is charged with dealing and possessing meth, unlawful possession of a syringe and paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance and three counts of neglect of a dependent.
