Warm Weather Forces Paoli Peaks to Suspend Operations

PAOLI -- Paoli Peaks is temporarily closed because of warm weather. 

The closure took effect Thursday, Dec. 26.

The local ski resort says on Twitter it will reopen when freezing temperatures return and it's cold enough to make more snow.   

Paoli Peaks is an alpine ski resort located in Paoli Township, Orange County, near Paoli, Indiana. It is for skiers, snowboarders, snowbladers, and tubers. 

Paoli Peaks is built on a natural hill at a 900 ft. elevation with a vertical drop of 300 ft. Currently, it has 17 runs and many chairlifts and tows.
