STATEWIDE--Walgreens will begin selling CBD products in nearly 15-hundred stores in nine states, one of which is Indiana.

CNBC reported Wednesday that the nation's number-two pharmacy chain will sell creams, patches, and sprays containing the non-psychoative ingredient in cannabis.

Walgreens will sell CBD products in the following states: Indiana, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, New Mexico, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vermont.

The nation's biggest pharmacy chain, CVS, began selling CBD topical products in eight states earlier this month. Indiana is one of those eight states. That means Hoosiers can now buy CBD products from both CVS and Walgreens.

It was not clear when Walgreens would begin selling the products, though CVS started selling CBD products in 800 stores last week.
