HUNTINGBURG -- Drivers in Huntingburg have been dealing with longer trains in recent weeks, and that means longer wait times and traffic headaches.

According to the Free Press, a bridge was washed out near Brunswick, Missouri recently, forcing Norfolk Southern to consolidate two trains into one.  Those trains stretched nearly two miles in length and were routed through Huntingburg.

But, we’re learning the bridge should be fixed now.  The company says those trains should be getting shorter by midweek.
