Two Killed in Weekend Crash in Gibson County, Alcohol May Have Played a Role

GIBSON COUNTY -- Two men killed in a crash in Gibson County Saturday.

State police say alcohol played a role in why a car driven by 19-year-old Trevor Watt was hit as he was turning left at an intersection.

They say 25-year-old Ashley Sanders, who was not wearing a seatbelt, did not stop at the four-way stop and slammed into Watt's car as he was turning left.

Both Watt and his passenger 20-year-old James Gasaway were killed.

Sanders survived and was taken to the hospital, no word on her condition.
