Two Arrested on Meth and Other Charges in Jasper

JASPER -- Two people were arrested yesterday on meth and other charges.

Police responded to the 1400 block of Newton Street around 12:30 yesterday afternoon on a report of a domestic situation.

A concerned citizen allegedly saw 33-year-old Brandon Bullock hit a female and then leave the location.

When police caught up with the man, they allegedly found meth and a pipe used to smoke it.

As officers took Bullock into custody, he and the female, 31-year-old Tina Best began to resist.

They were both arrested and charged with Possession of Meth and Paraphernalia and Resisting Law Enforcement.
