FROM LOCAL SOURCES

WARRICK COUNTY -- Two students have tested positive for COVID-19 in Warrick County.

We don’t know what schools were impacted, but county officials say they are working with the Health Department to notify close contacts of the students.

Those close contacts will be required to quarantine for two weeks.

Superintendent Brad Schneider released the following statement on Thursday:

"The Warrick County School Corporation can confirm that we had two students test positive for COVID-19 today. The corporation has initiated our mitigation plan and is working with the local Health Department to identify and contact all individuals who were in close contact with the positive students."
