Tropical Storm Gordon Could Impact The Area With Heavy Rain and Higher Gas Prices

GULF COAST -- All eyes on the Gulf coast as Tropical Storm Gordon makes landfall.

And what happens along the Alabama / Mississippi boarder today could have a ripple effect on gas prices here at home.

Any oil or gas distribution issues from the tropical storm could cause gas prices to go up a bit before dropping again following the summer driving season.

We will have to watch the track of Gordon as it makes landfall in the south.

Meteorologists Andrew White with the National Weather Service says the remnants of the storm could impact us here at home.  Some areas could see up to 5 inches of rain.
After Gordon moves through, you can expect a drop in temperatures, going back to the upper 70’s to low 80’s by next week.
