Trash Fire Gets Out of Control, Burns a Quarter of an Acre of Land in Dubois

DUBOIS -- Dubois Volunteer Firefighters were called out to a brush fire in the 4000 block of East Zehr Road Wednesday afternoon.

The call came in around 3:30 p.m.

Officials say a trash fire got out of control and scorched about a quarter of an acre of land.

9 Firefighters responded with 2 trucks.  They said the fire was mostly put out by the time they arrived.

They put the rest of the fire out and wet down the burned area.

No one was hurt and no property was damaged in the fire.
