Tractor Stolen From American Legion; Spencer Co. Sheriff's Department Asking For Your Help

ROCKPORT -- The Spencer County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help in a equipment theft investigation, the agency said Friday on social media.

The tractor pictured in this photograph is NOT a photograph of the stolen tractor but is very similar. It is a 1983 John Deere model 770 with a finish mower attached to the rear hitch. 

It was stolen from the American Legion Post #254 in Rockport. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Stinson at 812-649-2286. 

Officials say callers may remain anonymous.
