FROM LOCAL SOURCES

PRINCETON -- Officials at Toyota have announced they are delaying the company’s planned return to operations.  This includes the Princeton plant.

Employees were planning on going back to work on May 11th.

In a statement, a company spokesperson said the move is based on an extensive review with suppliers and the logistics network.

Toyota plans to gradually restart manufacturing operations in compliance with federal guidelines and local and state ordinances.

The company has implemented new protocols to combat the spread of COVID-19 at all of its North American plants.
