Tom Krodel Honored With Distinguished Citizen Award Wednesday Night

HUNTINGBURG -- Tom Krodel was presented with this year’s Distinguished Citizen Award Wednesday night at the Huntingburg Event Center.
It was part of the annual award banquet put on by the Buffalo Trace Council of the Boy Scouts.
Krodel is the Jasper Region President at Old National Bank.

"It is one of the best evenings of my life," says Krodel. "But I am very, very humbled and very very grateful to receive this award."
U.S. Sen. Mike Braun of Jasper was the keynote speaker for Wednesday’s award ceremony. He’s a former Scout himself.
The annual event brought in around 380 people and raised over $50,000 for local Scouting programs.
WITZ's Gene Kuntz was the emcee for Wednesday night's banquet.
