Three Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Generators From Jasper Hardware Store

JASPER -- Indiana State Police have arrested three men for allegedly stealing generators from the Home Depot in Jasper.

Police received the theft report Tuesday around 1 p.m. 

The three men were seen leaving the store, going north on U.S. 231.  A Major with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle a short time later on U.S. 50 near Rama Dye Road and conducted a traffic stop.

Two generators were found inside the vehicle.

37-year-old Howard Stiltz, 50-year-old Ramone Stroud and 18-year-old Jordan Armstrong are all facing a felony theft charge.

Armstrong also faces a misdemeanor drug charge.  Stroud was allegedly driving without ever receiving a license.
