Those Who Oppose Proposed Coal-to-Diesel Plant in Dale to Hold Forum Thursday Night

LINCOLN CITY -- A public forum will be held Thursday night in Lincoln City to discuss plans for a coal-to-diesel refinery in Dale.

Organizers don’t want to Riverview Energy plant built, citing health concerns.

This, even as IDEM releases initial findings, showing the plant would pose no significant threat to air quality or public health.

It’s being co-hosted by Southwestern Indiana Citizens Quality of Life and Project ACORN.

There will be guest speakers discussing potential health impacts.

It begins at 7:00 p.m. eastern Thursday at Heritage Hills High School in the auditorium.
