Thermwood Offers Scholarships to Two Area Students

DALE -- A business in Dale has awarded scholarships to two area students.

Thermwood has awarded Carson Vaal and Colton O’Brien EACH with a $2,000 college scholarship, this from the Free Press.

Vaal will be a 2018 graduate of Jasper High School.He’s active with Robotics, Marching Band and Boy Scouts.He’s the son of Courtney and Scott Vaal of Jasper.

He plans to attend Ball State.

O’Brien is a Southridge High School grad and a member of the football and track teams.He also participated in Bass fishing club, FCA, Spirit Club and the Outdoors Club.

He’s the son of Chris and Jennifer O’Brien of Stendal.  O’Brien will be attending Ivy Tech this fall.
