The Numbers are In: 51 Needy Kids Shopped With a Cop Last Week in Jasper

From Local Sources

JASPER -- Indiana State Police are releasing numbers from last week’s annual Shop With a Cop event at the Jasper Walmart.

51 needy children from our area participated in the event.

Each kid received $150 to purchase essential clothing and a small toy.

It’s the only Christmas many of these kids will get.

State police partnered with other law enforcement agencies for last week’s Shop With a Cop.

They include local police in Jasper, Ferdinand and Huntingburg.  The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and DNR also participated.
