Statewide Tornado Drill Will Be Held Tuesday, Sirens Will Be Activated

DUBOIS COUNTY -- Officials with the Dubois County Emergency Management Agency are asking the public to participate in the statewide tornado exercise this week.

It’s all part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week March 14^th – 20^th.

The statewide tornado exercise will be on Tuesday, March 16^th.  It will be initiated at approximately 10:15 a.m. that day. 

The tornado sirens in Dubois County will be activated during this time.  

Your participation in the exercise will help improve your severe weather and tornado preparedness plans.  

Officials say the goal is to prevent the potential number of deaths and injuries from tornadoes and other severe weather this season.
