State wants to put a Round-a-Bout in Jasper

Jasper- As of now, Jasper has zero round-a-bouts.

That could change however as the state of Indiana is wanting to install one on a major highway on the city’s east side.

“The state wants to put a round-a-bout on (state road) 56.” Shared Jasper Mayor Dean Vonderheide at Monday’s Coffee and Conversations.

Mayor Vonderheide would go on to say that there is no current plan or timeline on when work will begin and said could be a while before they see such. Exactly where the round-a-bout would be located was not said. No other information was given.
