St. Henry Firefighters Respond to Grain Elevator Fire Monday Night, No One Was Hurt

From Local Sources

ST. HENRY -- St. Henry volunteer firefighters responded to Hoffman Farms Monday night on a report of a grain elevator fire.

The call to 911 came in just before 7 p.m.

The property used to house the old Weaver Popcorn Facility, but is now owned by that private farm.

Most of the flames had been put out by an employee with a fire extinguisher before firefighters arrived.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

Four trucks responded with thirteen firefighters.  They were on scene for about 30 minutes.
